With the Rocky Mountains, Wheeler Peak Views, and the nearby town of Red River, The Mountain View Lodge is the perfect retreat for experiencing a rejuvenating blend of subtle beauty and peace. The rest of the world falls away as you settle onto this 3-acre mountaintop escape. The luxury cabin will make you feel right at home, while nearby activities are sure to keep you busy.
Relax and enjoy the unbelievable views from the large living room with vaulted ceilings, floor to ceiling picture windows and fireplace. The main living area is all open and boasts a lovely kitchen with breakfast bar, adjoining dining room, aspen ceilings, beautiful custom cabinetry and exposed timber beams.
Relax on the deck with a spectacular 180-degree, panoramic view of the Red River Valley, Wheeler Peak and surrounding mountains. Perched above the Red River Valley with a mature, wooded slope, the house backs up to acres of undeveloped forest; no neighbors on either side. It is common to see deer grazing on the property. The cabin is private, but not secluded, and just minutes to the Red River Ski Area and town activities.
Bedroom 1- Master suite with king Sleep Number mattress, private balcony with gorgeous views, fireplace and en-suite bathroom. The huge master bathroom features a stand up shower and you can soak in the jacuzzi tub while looking out on picturesque mountain views.
Bedroom 2- The second bedroom also features a king Sleep Member bed in addition to gorgeous views, and a large closet.
Bedroom 3- The third bedroom is on the first floor with a beautiful new log bed.
Loft- The loft features beautiful views and a 2nd den area or 4th bedroom with queen futon.
No Late Check In during winter months!

STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given for snow storms or lack of. This home is located up a driveway that could be dangerous without a 4 wheel or all wheel drive vehicle. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. The gravel driveway is well maintained and plowed, however we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. (Nov.-March) We do not refund due to road conditions or an inability to drive up the house.
