Offering the only ATV tours in the town of Red River! There are 138 miles of marked trails in the breathtaking forest which surrounds the valley. Their experienced guides will escort you through rugged trails and flowing streams and up to peaks and scenic overlooks. The trails you will take depends on the time of year, accessibility of the trails and which tour you take.

The state of New Mexico requires a day use permit for all ATV/OHV's. Vehicles that are considered to be OHV's and must be registered include:

OHVs used on public lands must be registered and user fees paid. Fees are deposited into the Trail Safety Fund to be spent as specified in the OHV Act.

You will create a new account, then you are given the option to purchase your permit. IMPORTANT: Add all of your vehicles to the permit application before you click "review application." This will save you the $4.95 in online transaction fee's for each of your vehicles. Once you have completed the online purchase you will receive an email confirmation. Print out your confirmation, which will be your temporary permit. For your convenience, we can print a temporary permit at Resort Realty.
OHV Rules:
• No one, regardless of age, may drive under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• There is a 10-mph speed limit within 200 feet of any business, animal shelter, occupied dwelling, pedestrian, bicyclist or horseback rider.
• OHVs may not be operated on any paved street or highway, except to cross a street or highway after coming to a complete stop and yielding to traffic. OHVs may be driven on a highway right- of-way only when traveling the shortest distance between a staging area and areas designed for OHV use.
• OHVs are required to have a U.S. Forest Service approved spark arrestor (except snowmobiles).
• The legal noise limit is 96 decibels.
